Two Turtles (Jass)
SEAFOOD!
I made Tuna Salad for supper with rice and Lentil soup!
The Golden Girls - Harvest Moon by Neil Young. Feel relaxed and peaceful sitting by the fire in my backyard.
Two Turtles (Senja)
I listened to guided meditations by Jason Stephenson on Youtube - ex "Calming Sleep Music." Some are a mix of a guided mediations and meditation music. I often listen to them to fall asleep - they are very relaxing, and help me to be present in the moment and in my body, especially after a long day where my mind is often busy!
The Poulins - Melanie
I turn to music for many things ; comfort, a way to get away from reality, to pump me up and even motivate me. For most of these things I turn to country music. Country music speaks right to my soul and I connect with the lyrics. If a song gives me the "feels" then I know it will make the steady rotation. One song I turn to often is " Forever after All" by Luke Combs. This song makes me think of my husband and all the happy memories we have shared over the years. I can close my eyes and relive our moments throughout the years and look forward to the many more experiences we will have together.
Whippersnappers - Carole
Frank Mills - listened to way more than 5 mins
Whippersnappers (Nichole)
I don’t know about you, but I feel good!
High energy music like this one from Pitbull can be calming after a tough day at work.
The Poulins (Eric)
May not seem calming or soothing to most given the album art and band name, but to me I find meaning in lyrics to have a calming effect which I can still find in my favourite genre of music. This one particular talks about how "sometimes darkness can show us the light". A wonderful message from one of my favourite bands.
calming music before bed!
Les Fierces Femmes! Tracy and Steph
Pagemate:
Here is our seafood meal from last night. It is Lemon Shrimp Orzo with Asparagus.
Les Fieces Femmes!
I listen to this every night when I go to bed. It helps me calm my mind and focus on just the sounds I hear.
